Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex drivability and electrical systems, while also providing leadership and mentoring to our team members. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service and quality products.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a valid automobile driver's license. A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required, and new hires will have up to 2 years of employment to comply. We offer a competitive pay rate, with a flat-rate pay system that rewards our skilled professionals for their expertise and dedication.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems to specifications.
- Perform brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems repairs.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Maintain Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable.
