Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Renewal By Andersen. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, guests, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations, providing security support and coordinating the response of internal and external teams.
  • Provide escorts and protection control measures to employees as needed, documenting and reporting information according to company policies and procedures.
  • Interact with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees, providing a positive brand experience.
  • Conduct patrols and perform duties via foot and security vehicle to ensure the safety and security of our employees, guests, and facilities.
  • Monitor, maintain, and respond to alarms within various systems, collaborating with internal and external partners to resolve situations.
  • Enforce access control ID badge policy, issuing temporary and day-use badges and removing/granting access as needed.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and the Enterprise Corporate Security team to complete department projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with training internal and external partners on company security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable about physical security technology, security processes, and computer systems.
  • Able to meet Fleet requirements to drive a company vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the physical security industry and/or operations center environment.
  • First aid and CPR certification or ability to achieve certification upon being hired.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods daily.
