Job Summary:

The Field Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of assigned homes in the community, ensuring compliance with SheaHomes' customer satisfaction and quality assurance standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct all field activities and reporting functions associated with the construction of assigned homes.
  • Provide leadership in and manage the coordination of all activities within the new home construction process.
  • Optimize the effectiveness of TradePartners and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular site safety audits and ensure all non-compliant activities and behaviors are corrected immediately.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and inspectors.
  • Communicate daily with TradePartnerTM foreman on job site.
  • Review and approve invoices daily.
  • Ensure complete knowledge of scope of work before building operation begins.
  • Participate in monthly safety training program.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/ BS degree preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills / Shea Operating systems.
  • Understands, adheres to and mentors others in regards to Shea Homes policies and procedures.
  • Consistently holds and facilitates onsite TradePartner meetings.
  • Consistently delivers homes that meet or exceed minimum quality standards of Shea.
  • Proven problem solving capabilities through identification of deficiencies and execution of solutions.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates effective knowledge of construction process.
