About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead our multifamily construction projects in Ohio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, expediting critical materials and equipment delivery.
  • Review and resolve subcontractor schedule impacts and claims.
  • Manage work performance related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
  • Document project field issues and prepare RFIs as needed.
  • Oversee work among all trades to promote coordinated project operations.
  • Ensure necessary permits and insurance are in place throughout the project term.
  • Assist in maintaining the project budget.
  • Ensure work is installed according to approved contract documents.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of building construction experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of general and subcontract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Prior Residential or Multifamily stick frame experience is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills combined with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Completed OSHA 30-hour training course.
  • Able to develop employees through stretch assignments with appropriate support.
  • Will occasionally work inside and outside in various weather conditions (heat, snow, rain, cold, etc.).
  • May occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
