Role Purpose

The Batcher plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating production activities related to batching. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of daily scheduled batches, ensuring adherence to formulas and procedures to meet Quality Assurance and Food Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the production supervisor and batching lead to determine required batches for the production schedule.
  • Monitor and manage raw materials to prevent contamination, ensuring proper storage and identification.
  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned batching areas, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand blending formulas and work independently.
  • Report any batching issues or safety concerns to the supervisor and lead person.
  • Accurately maintain all production batching records and log sheets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to address any batching equipment issues promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.
  • Set up equipment, including pumps, mixers, and piping.
  • Ensure that products meet target specifications.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing or production environments.

Education: High School Diploma.
