Key Responsibilities


The Lead Manager, Retail Product Strategy will guide and manage a team of merchandising project leaders in the formulation and implementation of retail merchandising strategies across various retail channels.

This includes both the indirect dealer network and national retail establishments. The team will provide merchandising assistance to Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile retail locations.

Under their leadership, they will ensure that all merchandising strategies are developed and disseminated to retail outlets to support product introductions and promotional initiatives.


In this position, you will:
  • Direct a team of project leaders in the creation and execution of Retail Merchandising strategies and in the design and development of retail environments.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the ideation and conceptualization of field merchandising strategies. Propose tactics, materials, vehicles, or production techniques.
  • Oversee fulfillment operations, ensuring understanding of service level agreements (SLAs) related to the distribution of merchandising materials to retail locations.
  • Be the authority on in-store fixtures and elements, effectively implementing policies to ensure delivery and maintenance.
  • Manage and lead a team of project leaders who handle the daily execution of numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate a history of leadership with proven success in motivating team members.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., Brand, Creative, Sales Operations, Product Management, Legal, Real Estate).
  • Proactively suggest improvements to processes and cost reductions.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and Gmail is preferred.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:
  • 6+ years of experience managing a Retail Merchandising team or in a comparable role.
  • Expertise in executing retail merchandising strategies, including point-of-sale materials, fixture production, and fulfillment services.
  • Experience in print production and fulfillment of in-store retail strategies.
  • Background in store design and fixture manufacturing.
  • Experience in the retail wireless industry is advantageous.
