About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Car Buyer to join our team at Private Auto Industry Client in Monroe, North Carolina. As a Car Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing high-quality pre-owned vehicles for our dealership by purchasing cars at auctions and directly from individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate vehicles and negotiate prices at auctions and off the street, with a focus on acquiring 100 cars per month.
  • Conduct ongoing research to stay informed about current market trends, pricing, and vehicle demand in the region.
  • Work with the sales and management teams to ensure the dealership's inventory aligns with customer preferences and sales goals.
  • Negotiate and purchase vehicles directly from private sellers, ensuring all transactions are transparent and fair.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends and values.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or purchasing.
