Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform nuclear medicine procedures to produce accurate images
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
- Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
- May assist in orienting other staff to the department and performing specific procedures
- Successful completion of an educational program in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine (RHN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
This is a per diem/casual position with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. The pay range is $72.43 to $90.51 per hour.
