We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist III to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Competently perform nuclear medicine procedures to produce accurate and timely results
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
- May assist in orienting new staff members to the department and performing specific procedures
- Successful completion of an educational program in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine (RHN) certification
- 5 years of recent relevant experience in nuclear medicine or radiography
- General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, and equipment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
This is a per diem/casual position with a variable schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
