Essential Qualifications:

ROLE SUMMARY

Your primary duty will be to safely load, transport, and unload residents for their medical appointments and recreational activities, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

KEY DUTIES:
  • Assist residents during boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
  • Ensure timely transportation to and from designated locations, including emergency situations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain friendly interactions with all residents.
  • Conduct pre-usage inspections of the vehicle.
  • Perform nightly cleaning of the vehicle, ensuring a tidy environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out, on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee regular vehicle maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations).
  • Exhibit reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals in the workplace.
  • Assist in emergency evacuations of residents when necessary.
  • Lead, transport, and unload residents with care.
  • Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance (e.g., grooming standards).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Understanding of administrative procedures and customer service principles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must meet company insurance requirements.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or geriatric settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
  • An active CNA license in the state of Colorado is required.

TRAINING:
  • The typical duration to fully perform this role, given the necessary knowledge and skills, is approximately up to 3 months.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Primarily operates within a vehicle and various facility locations (e.g., activity rooms, resident areas).
  • Engages with residents, staff, and associates under diverse conditions.
  • May encounter challenging situations with residents or family members.
  • Flexibility to be assigned to other roles as needed.
  • May require working beyond standard hours, including weekends.
  • Subject to emergency call-backs during critical situations.
  • Potential exposure to various workplace hazards.
  • May involve handling infectious materials and hazardous substances.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to interact with individuals who are ill, disabled, or emotionally distressed.
  • Capacity to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Strong concentration and reasoning skills are essential.
  • May need to assist in emergency evacuations.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and walk during work hours.
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights as specified.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted Colorado driver's license.
  • Classification: non-exempt.
