About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our team at Thompson Law Injury Lawyers. As a Medical Records Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our personal injury cases by ordering medical records, billing records, and performing detailed reviews to accurately document all records for injury-related information, billing information, and related items.

Responsibilities:

  • Ordering medical records and billing records
  • Performing detailed reviews of all records to accurately document injury-related information, billing information, and related items
  • Working collaboratively with our paralegals and lawyers to ensure seamless case management
  • Providing exceptional client service and interacting with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person

Requirements:

  • Ability to independently manage medical records in personal injury cases
  • Overall organization and attention to detail
  • Willingness and ability to interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of personal injury law firm, insurance adjuster, or medical record requesting experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
