  • Product Knowledge: Promote alterations services and personalization options, maintaining store standards and high dress code standards.
  • Quality Control: Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise, following quality control guidelines and inspecting garments to ensure pristine condition.
  • Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty, supporting inventory management and cash wrap behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent degree
  • Experience: 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Skills: Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Technical Skills: Prior experience with computerized POS systems
Physical Demands:
  • Physical Activity: Occasional standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity to perform non-selling responsibilities, such as use of POS terminals and steaming garments
  • Lifting: Ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds
  • Vision: Ability to see up close and at a distance, use peripheral vision and depth perception, and look at, read, and use a computer and electronic devices for long periods
