**Job Summary**

Control Point Associates is seeking an experienced Crew Chief to lead our survey team in the field. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of field surveying, including construction stakeout, topographical surveys, preliminary boundary analysis/stake out, and as-built surveys.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct field surveys using advanced equipment such as Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK Units, and 3D Laser Scanners.
  • Perform field calculations and sketches, ensuring accuracy of all survey documents.
  • Maintain and take care of all company equipment and vehicles, ensuring setup is in a secure environment with proper safety precautions in place.
  • Supervise and motivate instrument operators when assigned, and self-organize and motivate when working alone.
  • Communicate professionally and regularly with customers on site, representing the company in a positive manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful, reliable surveying experience in a managerial role.
  • High School Diploma and strong math and computer skills.
  • The ability and desire to expand your skillsets and adapt to new technologies.
  • Highly proficient field coding to be used for field to finish auto linework.
  • Ability to complete additional certificates, such as OSHA (10, 30, 40, etc.), Hazwoper, TWIC, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and travel with overnight stays if required.

**Physical Demands**

The Crew Chief will work in the field with the survey crew, often in busy streets or construction sites. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8+ hours a day. Exposure to all weather conditions: hot, cold, wet, humid, or other conditions caused by weather.
