Exciting Opportunity for a Survey Technician

Yoh, a leading provider of professional services, is seeking a highly skilled Survey Technician to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will play a critical role in overseeing survey operations for our Civil Engineering client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement survey strategies to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Collaborate with project managers and assistant project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to CAD drafters to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct topographic analysis and generate Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Develop mapping solutions utilizing field crew data collector files, sketches, and reference maps.
  • Prepare and configure survey data to facilitate efficient field operations.
  • Execute construction layout calculations, as-built surveys, and sketches.
  • Produce grade sheets and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys with precision.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of surveying experience, with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude for accurate calculations.
  • Proven track record of delivering clean and precise plan presentations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of field survey operations and the engineering/construction industry.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability in learning new software and technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for effective documentation and data management.
