As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Ortho Musculoskeletal department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with top clinical, technical, and business professionals across all disciplines.

Our employees are the driving force behind our mission, and we are seeking a per diem LPN to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications, give injections, and read PPD results
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) and screening tests
  • Obtain and test specimens, document results, and take appropriate action with unexpected results
  • Assist providers with surgical procedures, including positioning patients, maintaining a sterile field, and wound cleaning and dressing
  • Prepare paperwork to complete patient visits
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs as needed and report abnormal results to providers
  • Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and check equipment to ensure proper working order
  • Maintain medication storage closets
  • Participate in orienting new team members

Requirements:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
  • BLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Practice Nursing School diploma
  • 1+ year of outpatient experience (preferred)
