Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Astrolab is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of our lunar rovers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production plans
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and standards
  • Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing manufacturing processes and systems
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
