Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Gas Distribution Operations Manager. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the Clearwater Gas System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and coordinate programs for gas distribution operations, design/permitting, administration, and safety/training.
  • Supervision: Supervise and manage daily operations and administration functions of the Gas System, including mail, phone support, meeting and travel scheduling, maintaining file systems, and updating manuals.
  • Safety and Training: Coordinate, manage, and organize safety and loss control training and related assistance, including training and assisting in the development of all required licenses and certifications required by regulatory agencies.
  • Construction and Maintenance: Coordinate all construction and maintenance activities on the natural gas distribution system, including compressed natural gas (CNG) filling station and cathodic protection maintenance.
  • Project Management: Serve as a project engineer, producing permits, gas main design plans, and relocation projects for facilities, completing all design work, including field surveys, design, and permitting work.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related area based upon area of assignment.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of professional level experience in the development and administration of programs in gas distribution, including at least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/lead worker capacity.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of principles and practices of program management, natural gas applications, and energy system analysis, as well as methods and techniques used in safety and training.
