Licensed Professional Counselor

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team in providing innovative care to individuals with traumatic brain injuries or related neurological conditions. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that promote independence and community reintegration.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop measurable objectives and goals.
- Design and implement empirically based psychological interventions to maximize patient participation in the community.
- Develop community reintegration activities to support patients' psychological and cognitive needs during physical activity.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and other stakeholders.
- Consult with medical providers regarding patient evaluation and treatment, progress, and discharge.
- Maintain and submit evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current professional license and/or certification as required by the state of practice.
- A minimum of one year of post-master's degree clinical experience in counseling individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries or related neurological conditions.
- Knowledge of complex neurologic injury rehabilitation techniques.
- Effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
