Position Summary:

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in the telecommunications sector for a long-term engagement. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for three days in the office and two days of remote work. Please note that this role is exclusively available to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents due to the nature of the projects and required security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, automation strategies, and validation processes.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues identified during the testing phases.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and quality analysts to address and resolve issues, requiring substantial automation expertise.
  • Create and maintain automated testing scripts to minimize repetitive manual testing efforts.
  • Design, implement, and oversee test plans focusing on scalability, security, functionality, and usability, tailoring testing methods as necessary.
  • Execute and document results from test plans, scripts, and cases.
  • Develop new automation test cases in collaboration with business UAT teams, third-party vendors, and internal IT departments.
  • Conduct testing of business processes and products across various applications, ensuring a seamless end-to-end process flow.
  • Manage escalations with developers regarding code defects, prioritization of fixes, and ticket resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven QA experience within the Telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with all stages of software testing, including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and test architecture design.
  • Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, test framework development, and web application testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with a CI/CD testing culture.
  • Demonstrated programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Willingness to accommodate early or late hours to support both offshore and onshore team members, including occasional production deployment testing.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning in QA is a significant advantage.
  • Successful track record as an individual QA Automation Engineer embedded within a product team.
  • Experience in testing at the API and database levels of applications.
Additional Information:
