Wall Residences Inc is seeking full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support our mission in enhancing the lives of children with Autism. Training to become an RBT will be provided for those who are not yet certified. Our focus is on delivering meaningful and individualized support to help children achieve their fullest potential.
As an RBT, you will engage directly with clients in various settings, including clinics, homes, and community environments, providing high-quality, intensive ABA interventions under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). At Wall Residences, we prioritize ethical and personalized treatment, fostering an atmosphere where authenticity thrives. Collaboration is key, and we are committed to working together to support both our clients and each other. We also promote professional growth and offer opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement tailored behavioral therapy programs utilizing ABA strategies to enhance social-communicative skills and daily living abilities while minimizing challenging behaviors.
- Document progress, gather data, and maintain client records under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA).
- Observe and assess client skills, collecting relevant information as directed by the Clinical Supervisor to inform treatment goals.
- Develop program materials as necessary, following guidance from the Clinical Supervisor.
- Assist in updating client programs as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Engage in weekly supervision and team meetings with the Clinical Supervisor.
- Support and educate parents and caregivers on behavior management techniques to facilitate the generalization of skills.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to achieve client objectives and maintain effective communication with clients and their families.
- Participate in progress reviews and ISP meetings with the clinical team and family members.
- Ensure accurate documentation of billable tasks is maintained and submitted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations across various backgrounds.
- Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to follow directions and work independently.
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in the workplace.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on client needs.
- Comfort in working with children exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Requirements
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current registered behavior technician credential in good standing, or completion of a 40-hour training course, competency assessment, and exam to achieve RBT status within six months of hire.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check upon hiring.
