About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a leader in the construction industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and bids for projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and time requirements.
  • Respond to RFI's and manage submittals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and oversee all project activities, from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best possible terms.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry. Previous estimating experience a big plus.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, estimating, bidding, responding to RFI's, and managing submittals.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in relevant software, including project management and estimation tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
