Responsibilities

Engage in a proactive and assertive sales strategy that includes external sales visits, internal meetings, phone outreach, personalized correspondence, and direct marketing efforts. A successful sales manager should dedicate 80% of their time to active sales initiatives. Collaborate with the Sales Director to formulate the yearly marketing strategy, which encompasses action plans for designated market segments. Prepare and dispatch proposals for all qualified leads that align with the property’s profile, diligently following up to transition from proposal to confirmed bookings. Collect, document, and relay all essential details regarding confirmed groups, including billing details, credit applications, rooming lists, and VIP arrangements. Ensure that all specifics related to meeting logistics, menu selections, audio-visual needs, etc., are recorded and communicated to the catering manager for further action.
