Job Title: Factory IT Support Administrator

MACOM is seeking a highly skilled Factory IT Support Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for manufacturing hardware and software needs, as well as driving continuous improvement to our operations systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a catalog of all factory hardware and software, including specialty application software.
  • Support and troubleshoot factory-specific hardware and software applications.
  • Build familiarity with operator Manufacturing Execution System interactions to assist in continuous improvement in operator interaction with workstations.
  • Partner with IT on maintenance and replacement of FAB PCs.
  • Install printers, tablets, and PCs in the factory after they have been imaged by IT.
  • Be the first point of contact for fab-related hardware and software issues and partner with IT on resolution.
  • Work closely with fab supervision to coordinate activities.
  • Partner with manufacturing personnel to highlight gaps and inefficiencies in the manufacturing IT systems and drive improvements to address them.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Must be comfortable working in a clean room environment and be willing and able to wear a smock suit.
  • Must be willing to adjust work schedule as needed to support factory needs.
  • Expertise in Windows OS and infrastructure.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.
  • Good time management, multitasking, and networking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate team members.
  • Some computer application programming experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor-related operations is a plus.
  • Understanding of the semiconductor process flow, structure, and functions is a plus.
  • Customer service orientation and creative problem-solving skills.

Hourly Range:

$35.00 per hour. Actual offer to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
