  • Respond to phone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule tours
  • Qualify prospects, assist with applications, and process deposits
  • Keep an updated availability report and process applications with credit checks and rental history verification
  • Show apartments, close sales, and prepare for move-ins
  • Assist in maintaining a social media presence and promoting resident satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct tours, maintain show rooms, and follow up with applicants
  • Utilize marketing strategies to ensure traffic and secure resident retention
  • Project a favorable image of the community and focus on resident satisfaction
  • Complete necessary paperwork and attend goal-setting meetings
  • Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses to resident service requests

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Microsoft Office and Property Management Software
  • Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit for extended periods while working at a desk
  • May be required to climb stairs
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens, and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks

Work Environment:

  • This role is based on-site, primarily in an office setting, but may require spending time outside with exposure to the elements
  • The office is an open setting with bright lights, constant noises, and distractions
