Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitality Division Financial Controller to join our team at Landry's Corporate Office. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hospitality division, including accounting, lease management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial accounting and reporting for the hospitality division, including preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  • Oversee lease management, including negotiation and administration of leases, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
  • Ensure maintenance of accounting standards in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement safety practices for employees and maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self and associates.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger, financial statements, budgets, capital expenditures, and lease accounting.
  • Previous experience in lease accounting is helpful.
  • Proficient in Word & Excel software.
  • Flexible to work in varying schedules.
