Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Bilingual English/Spanish Patient Coordinator at our Deer Park Offices.

The Patient Coordinator will execute all front office duties and provide support to patients, providers, and support staff.

Previous healthcare experience is required.

Schedule:

Part-time, less than 30 hours per week. Availability includes Wednesday 7am-1pm, Thursday 1pm-7pm, and rotating Saturdays 7am-1pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently and efficiently handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads
  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and providers
  • Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps
  • Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested
  • Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English/Spanish required
  • Healthcare experience is required
  • Medical receptionist experience preferred
  • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred
  • Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excellent patient relation and customer service skills
  • Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated
