Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Actalent. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and facilitating access to services in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and families with a warm and welcoming smile
- Assist with daily reception activities, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient processing of services
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange
- Responsible for scheduling appointments, collecting fees, and explaining services and charges to patients
- Distribute patient materials, including satisfaction cards and patient rights information
- Verify insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Computer skills and experience with EMR systems
Our Patient Service Representative will work in a dynamic and supportive environment at our Amityville, New York location. The schedule will be 35 hours per week, with 7 hours paid and 1 hour unpaid lunch. Site hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with one Saturday per month from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
