Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our accounting systems, ensuring compliance with IRC's accounting policies and procedures, as well as generally accepted accounting principles and donor requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide internal and external partners with timely, accurate, and understandable financial information and reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Planning: Support the development of financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with IRC's strategic objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and donor requirements, including financial reporting and auditing.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or associate degree in finance or equivalent professional experience.
  • Skills: Strong computer-based accounting skills, including spreadsheets and other financial related software programs. Proficient in general office software programs like MS Word, Excel, and email.
  • Experience: Proven track record of working in a non-profit setting, with a strong commitment to ensuring the success of the IRC mission.
  • Language: Fluency in English, written and spoken.
