Position Overview

The Events Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning and execution of concessions at sporting events for Auburn University Athletics. This position ensures that all event day stands, food offerings, and equipment are prepared to meet Aramark's high standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise the setup and teardown of concession stands, ensuring they are reset for upcoming events.
2. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all stands, including proper disposal of waste and unused products.
3. Collaborate with nonprofit organizations to assist them in managing inventory and restocking food items during events.
4. Delegate tasks to team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed efficiently.
5. Report any employee conduct issues or complaints to the Concessions Food Service Manager/Director.
6. Ensure staff maintain cleanliness and proper stock levels throughout events.
7. Verify that each station is equipped with the necessary supplies to serve customers effectively.
8. Uphold a professional appearance and ensure compliance with uniform standards.
9. Foster a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols.
10. Ensure proper storage and security of all products, including food and equipment, when not in use.
11. Assist with various event day duties, which may include cooking, catering, and staff check-in.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in event management or food service.

- Experience in fast-paced environments with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
