Key Responsibilities- Initiate and control chemical manufacturing processes in reactors, adhering to standardized formulas and protocols.
- Oversee raw material charging, batch monitoring, and equipment operation, including forklift usage, in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform packaging, filtration, and materials handling with attention to minimizing contamination and ensuring product integrity.
- Conduct minor maintenance and inspection tasks following safety checklists to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Engage in the company's safety program regularly and adhere to all safety protocol and guidelines, reporting any safety hazards immediately.
- Participate in small, self-directed teams during operational hours, communicating effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Understanding of chemical processes and reactions.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chemical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a chemical plant.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and address equipment issues.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of the Internet.
