We are currently seeking a full-timeCustomer Service Specialist.
The primary responsibility of the
Customer Service Specialist is to deliver exceptional customer service to our commercial clients, including hospitals, by offering product information, generating price quotes, managing orders and returns, addressing discrepancies, assisting with website navigation, and verifying pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive customer service to our commercial clients, including hospitals, by providing product information, generating price quotes, managing orders and returns, and addressing discrepancies.
- Act as a vital link between operations and our clients to resolve order-related challenges.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure effective communication regarding inventory levels, product usage, and changes.
- Assist in resolving manufacturer backorders and allocations.
- Analyze hospital backorder reports to identify shortages and develop solutions.
- Initiate necessary actions in response to customer service requests for order modifications, including maintaining order and customer information files and communicating changes to relevant personnel.
- Resolve product or service issues, including missed shipments and backorder fulfillment.
- Recommend potential product substitutions by liaising with outside sales representatives and manufacturer sales personnel.
- Participate in conference calls and conduct site visits as required.
- Work collaboratively with all internal departments, outside sales teams, and clients.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of customer service standards and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Success:
- Associate's Degree or two years of experience in customer service, or a combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer proficiency is essential, with required skills in Excel and Word; experience with AS 400 is advantageous.
- Typing and data entry skills are necessary.
- High energy, a positive demeanor, and a customer-centric approach are essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset are required.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities; must be adaptable and capable of multitasking.
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of medical products are beneficial.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently are crucial.
- This position may offer a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.
