Orthopedic Support Specialist

EmergeOrtho prioritizes delivering exceptional, patient-centric care throughout North Carolina. As an Orthopedic Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless interactions between patients and our Radiology Department. Your primary responsibility will be to transport patients safely and promptly to and from radiology procedures according to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the designated examination room or radiology department
- Prepare patients for procedures by adhering to safety guidelines
- Perform thorough screenings prior to imaging studies
- Verify laboratory results are received as required by study specifications
Patient Care & Safety:
In this dynamic environment, you will interact with diverse patients and communicate effectively to ensure their comfort and satisfaction. Maintain strict adherence to Infection Control guidelines and comply with OSHA regulations to safeguard both patients and staff.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in a fast-paced medical setting or equivalent work environment
- Knowledge of practice management software and word processing applications
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
