Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring that our nursing department is operating in accordance with our mission, goals, and strategic plan.
  • Clinical Operations: Oversee the implementation of our clinical systems, processes, and programs to achieve high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Staff Management: Assist in leading the nursing team to ensure quality outcomes, oversee staffing based on census, acuity, and budget, and ensure effective recruitment and retention plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in our quality assurance performance improvement process by analyzing outcomes, identifying trends, and developing action plans to drive quality and person-centered care.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, communicate effectively, and actively listen to ensure seamless care transitions and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN.
  • Licenses/Certification: Valid RN license in the state employed, valid CPR certification, and DNS-CT or CDONA, optional.
  • Experience: 2 years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
