Hospital Account Manager

Pacific Medical, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospital Account Manager to join our team in the Tri Cities, WA territory. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for promoting and providing support for Pacific Medical Hospital Partnerships, meeting all required quality and performance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply orthopedic soft goods and devices such as CPMs, fit braces in the medical center, and measure for, order, and fit lumbar-sacral orthotic body jackets, chair back, L-S corsets, ankle-foot orthotics, and other devices as necessary.
- Perform dressing changes using aseptic technique with assistance from nursing personnel and apply soft goods such as CPMs.
- Participate in the coordination of inpatient care regarding soft goods placement, such as CPM placement and maintenance.
- Screen calls, pages, and emails regarding patient status and report potential problems to respective physicians and other care providers.
- Act as a resource to nursing and therapy staff and provide in-service training as needed.
- Facilitate interaction with custom Orthotic and Prosthetic care and function as a patient advocate.
- Work under the supervision of nursing and therapy to provide care and service to patients and their families, receiving direction from clinical staff for the delegation of tasks.
- Appropriately communicate and legibly document all care provided to the patient, as well as reporting changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with nurses and other team members to organize and prioritize functions necessary for patient care delivery.
- Demonstrate competency for appropriate soft goods such as CPMs per MD orders.
- Maintain annual competencies such as age competency.
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and demonstrate professional accountability.
- Adhere to Medical Center policies/procedures and core values.
- B.S. Degree or equivalent mandatory; 2 years of experience in Medical Sales (Entry Level & Orthopedic experience will be given consideration).
- Background in sports, sports medicine, or competition preferred.
- Great communication skills and time management experience.
- Ability to maintain inventory of consigned products.
- Knowledge and background of Human Anatomy; competent in basic Windows-based operating system (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email, etc.).
$36,000-$50,000 annually with an expense reimbursement for all eligible expenses associated with driving on behalf of the company.
