Technical Support Specialist

The role of an IT Technician encompasses serving as a key resource for all technology-related inquiries at the user level, addressing user requirements promptly, and ensuring the seamless operation of all systems, alongside various technical responsibilities. IT Technicians are expected to exhibit strong interpersonal abilities as they will collaborate with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization. They must effectively listen to technical needs, comprehend issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Setting up and configuring hardware and software components to guarantee usability.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Repairing or substituting damaged hardware components.
- Installing and updating anti-virus software to maintain user-level security.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations on new software and hardware.
- Offering assistance to users and serving as the primary contact for error reporting.
- Fostering positive relationships with all departments and colleagues.
- Managing technical documentation efficiently.

- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Associate's degree or 2+ years of experience in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- A+, Linux+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate certification is advantageous.
