Case Manager Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Case Manager Assistant to join our team at Native American Connections. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our residents by enforcing community and program rules, offering life skills education, and collaborating with case managers and other support systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with case managers and other support systems to provide comprehensive case management services.
- Enforce community and program rules, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment for residents.
- Provide life skills education to residents, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Document all resident communications and maintain accurate records.
- Assist residents with online job applications and resume writing, promoting employment opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate social activities, fostering a sense of community among residents.
- Complete daily shift tasks, including property safety walks and cleaning duties.
- Manage inventory of soft goods and notify the supervisor when replenishment is needed.
- Collaborate on monthly community meetings, addressing payment history, health and safety issues, and resident conduct.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in service delivery or a combination of related education, training, or work experience.
- Knowledge of the economic, educational, and social problems of Native Americans and referral services.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- MS Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Native American population.
- Possession of a valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation.
Native American Preference: Preference may be given to qualified Native American Indians according to the Indian Preference Hiring Act, CFR 25 USC 472.
