Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mitigation Technician to join our team at Advanced Disaster Recovery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional EMS services to clients and referral partners on large and complex commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure all required T&M documentation, including crew sheets, scope sheets, photo documentation, equipment and consumables logs, and moisture maps.
  • Establish project scope, install containment and safety mechanisms, and develop drying protocols.
  • Install and monitor drying equipment, capture loss data with 3D imaging equipment, and provide emergency cleaning and sanitizing services.
  • Secure testing samples for iTel, Lead, and Asbestos, conduct controlled demolition services, and collect deductibles.
  • Provide preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and company equipment, manage and pack client contents, and conduct every job sales activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability for after-hours and weekend work when required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work in PPE, including respiratory protection.
  • Ability to work in high places, tight spaces, and fire, smoke, and/or water damage environments with potential for mold and mildew.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience in the insurance restoration industry.
  • IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, and Mold restoration.
  • Current WRT, ASD, EPA Lead Renovator, and AHERA Certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of ANSI/IICRC Standards for Professional Water Damage Restoration.
  • Knowledge of property insurance policies and claims, and proficiency with technology such as iPad, iPhone, DASH, Cam, and Xactimate estimating software.
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of environments, including office and administrative settings, residential and commercial work sites, and may require travel outside of the immediate operating area.
