Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our clinical team at Walk In MD Clinic Urgent Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage patients, taking vital signs, medical history, and observational examinations.
  • Assist with patient exams, testing, and procedures under the direction of our healthcare providers.
  • Perform blood draws and administer medication and immunizations as per our Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Communicate with patients, answering questions, reporting test results, and medication/therapy changes.
  • Maintain clinical supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.

About You:

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an active Certified Medical Assistant License or Registered MA License.
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification is preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification is accepted.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as per our policy.
