We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Before and After School Teacher at Kids Zone Educational Child Care LLC.

Job Summary

This is a flexible position that supports college students in Early Childhood Education or other child-related degrees. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care and supervision to children before and after school hours.

Responsibilities
  • Assist children in serving breakfast and cleaning up materials properly
  • Facilitate small group activities and provide supervision and guidance
  • Provide supervision during arrival and departure of school age children
  • Prep and serve a light snack and clean up after snack
  • Basic light cleaning of the classroom
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or a junior or senior in high school enrolled in a child development program
  • Must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check
  • Must create an OCCRRA account upon hiring
  • Must provide an Employee Medical Statement as required by ODJFS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with school age children
  • Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rules
  • Established OCCRRA account
  • Child Development Associate credential; Associates Degree in Child Development; other degree in fields related to child development or family services
