Talent Acquisition Specialist

**The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruitment process, including initial onboarding of newly hired employees. This role will report directly to the head of People Operations, within a matrixed organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide expert guidance to management and hiring managers regarding talent acquisition, and manage the full life-cycle recruitment process, to include:
- Job description creation and hiring requisition/approval process,
- Recruiting and sourcing plan,
- Job posting and application/enquiry management,
- Interview and selection process, including documentation,
- Compensation and offer details, Close out of each role, ensuring a positive end to the communication loop.
- Manage all metrics related to talent acquisition; provide regular reporting on applicable key performance indicators to leadership.
- Responsible for the organization's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including platform selection and maintenance.
- Manage all initial onboarding activities for newly hired employees, including background checks.
- Create, schedule, and communicate all new hire training sessions.
- Handle initial benefits communication and enrollment.
- Assist in the creation of multi-year hiring and current employee development plans, to ensure appropriate talent for future needs.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (preferred) or a related field; or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
- At least three (3) years' experience in talent acquisition, with general knowledge of all major aspects of the full life cycle for recruitment.
- Documented, proven success in managing multiple openings, at varied organizational levels, in a rapidly growing company.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver clear and concise information to management.
- Working knowledge of US employment law regarding recruiting, with experience in multiple US geographies.
- Minimum of one (1) years' experience with reporting and tracking via an ATS, ideally with exposure to identification and implementation of an ATS.
- Solid understanding of confidentiality in people management and acquisition activities.
- Proven ability to think and act strategically, equitably, and creatively, particularly regarding people operations and development.
- Previous experience working with multiple external partners, as well as distributed teams working across the US.
