Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Mobile to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Mechanic Mobile, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, including AC, electrical systems, and other components.
  • Conduct road tests to identify cause of complaints and ensure quality of repair work performed.
  • Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates.
  • Coordinate work schedule as required by customers and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
  • Basic tools required.
  • Three years or more relevant work experience preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
