Job Summary:

The Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Downtown is in search of a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
  • Respond swiftly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and rectify potential concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the seamless operation of hotel facilities.
  • Assist in the upkeep of the hotel's landscaping and outdoor spaces.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in maintenance, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
