Request Technology, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior .Net Product Engineer with extensive experience in Azure technologies. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating tailored business solutions utilizing the Microsoft technology stack. This role involves leading and coordinating projects from a technological standpoint, adhering to secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and standards that align with industry best practices. The individual will play a pivotal role in the design and development of user interfaces, business objectives, and overall system infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis, design, configuration, development, and implementation of intermediate-level solutions to fulfill business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to establish integrations with external partners.
  • Provide Level 3 support, addressing operational or systematic issues and delivering resolutions using analytical skills and tools as needed.
  • Prepare project proposals and develop comprehensive project plans, potentially leading smaller projects.
  • Stay informed about current and emerging trends in the business industry and related technologies.
  • Document existing procedures while liaising with user departments.
  • May develop and maintain application security, ensuring compliance with legal requirements in design and documentation.
  • Effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to customers, peers, and management in both written and verbal formats.
  • Engage in production support activities, including advanced technical documentation.
  • Document small to medium-scale projects with minimal supervision and may assist in creating presentations for custom product development decisions.
  • Manage organizational development by analyzing complex situations and prioritizing critical technology tasks.
  • Contribute technical expertise and professional experience to address challenges and seize opportunities within the team.
  • Provide management with feedback on strategic recommendations, fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability.
  • Align changes with the organization's strategic goals and customer expectations.
  • Recognize the scope of issues and comprehend the impact of changes on various stakeholders.
  • Identify both short-term and long-term organizational needs.
  • Maintain a clear focus on the needs of internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, computer, or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Over 8 years of software development experience, with at least 6 years focused on web-based software development using .NET technologies (C#, .Net Framework, .Net Core, Docker, MVC, SQL Server).
  • Experience in developing MSOffice add-ins for Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC (versions 4 and above), .Net Core, WCF, RESTful services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3, React, responsive design, and Dependency Injection frameworks is desired.
  • Proficient in ORM tools such as Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Experience with container-based solutions.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration practices using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of SOA, TDD, SOLID principles, and systems architecture concepts. Familiarity with agile or other iterative development methodologies is essential.
  • Ability to estimate requirements and components, along with database design and development skills.
  • Experience in a law firm or global professional services environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies is required.
  • Experience with low-code platforms like IntApp is a plus.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating System architecture is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Office System is required.
  • Ability to engage in all aspects of the application SDLC, including Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and ADO is essential.
  • Participation in daily team scrums and code reviews is expected.
  • Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server is necessary.
