Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement AI solutions leveraging Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design scalable AI solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing applications.
  • Work with development teams to engineer larger-scale UI-based chatbot or agent applications using Azure OpenAI SDKs with Semantic Kernel.
  • Utilize prompt flow for prototyping, iterating, and evaluating AI solutions.
  • Engineer pipelines for data or file ingestion, used for contextual search and/or model training.
  • Optimize AI resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency on the Azure platform.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and ensure smooth integration of AI solutions into production environments.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in AI and evaluate them for use to enhance our solutions.
  • Instruct and mentor team members on best practices and advanced techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a software engineer, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Strong understanding of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering to effectively design and optimize prompts.
  • Exposure or experience in fine-tuning and hosting custom models.
  • Experience with Retrieval Automated Generation (RAG) techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with provisioning and management of Azure cloud resources.
  • Experience with machine learning is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to development teams as well as non-technical stakeholders.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $80/hour to $90/hour, depending on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
