About the Role

Lime is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of shared electric vehicles and ensuring the safety and efficiency of our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanics and senior mechanics, assigning daily tasks and ensuring workflow is efficient
  • Maintain a team-oriented environment and integrate new mechanics into the team
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to management on team performance
  • Ensure operational compliance and safety of all vehicles by completing quality checks prior to deployment
  • Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles
  • Manage battery operations, including inspection, rotation, check-in/check-out, and more
  • Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles
  • Perform in-warehouse repairs, from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
  • Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned
  • Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart on a frequent basis
  • Safely operate a van to assist with deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles within the local market as needed
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and good driving record
  • 1 year of experience in a similar industry, with the ability to train others preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 65lbs/35kg on a frequent basis required
  • An understanding of workforce management to help Ops Management ensure efficient staffing
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new concepts and using new tools
  • Ability to use data to inform decision-making and understand KPIs to make an impact
  • Knowledge of cell phone applications, with iOS experience preferred
  • Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage daily tasks
  • A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members at all levels

This is a contracted position that will be hired, managed, and compensated through a third-party employer. The hourly rate for this position is $23.50-$25.00. This position is not eligible for benefits through Lime as this is a contract position.
