• Supervising and managing project teams to produce high-quality documents
• Ensuring that projects conform to contractual agreements with clients
• Directing, organizing, and mentoring junior staff
• Maintaining positive client relationships
• Initiating and maintaining contact with key project individuals
• Providing leadership, resources, and technical advice for the generation of construction documents
• Supporting the Client Executive and/or Principal Architect in supervision and delegation of work
• Participating in training sessions and presenting to team members
• Occasional travel is required

Education and work experience requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of building regulations and safety codes
• Experience working with the Division of the State Architect (DSA)
• Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform Construction Administration duties

Preferred qualifications include:

• Master's degree in architecture
• Architecture license
• Demonstrated knowledge in using Revit and AutoCAD programs
• 10+ years of related professional experience
• Working knowledge of graphic programs (SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites)
• Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines
