The Role

The Senior Kitchen Manager will collaborate closely with the Chef/Partner and Head Chef to uphold culinary excellence, ensuring strict adherence to recipes, supervising their designated kitchen area, and guiding the cooks within their station. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Head Chef to prepare and present menus and dishes during service, while maintaining impeccable cleanliness and high-quality cuisine.
  • Supervise and mentor cooks in their respective kitchen areas to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Enhance productivity and promote effective communication between the kitchen and dining area.
  • Actively cultivate relationships between the restaurant and the surrounding community.
  • Ensure comprehensive knowledge of and compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant kitchen.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift over 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule as required by the business.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Hospitality Certification, or relevant experience.
