Therapeutic Apheresis Registered Nurse Opportunity

At Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of therapeutic apheresis. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform donor and therapeutic apheresis procedures using automated cell separators.
  • Conduct health assessments on allogeneic and autologous donors to determine eligibility for donation.
  • Interview and assess patients to determine suitability for therapeutic procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • BSN required.
  • Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • IV certification.
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience.
  • IV and venipuncture experience preferred.
  • Apheresis/Blood Bank experience preferred.
