Senior Financial Strategy Advisor

Senior Wealth Advisor
Compensation:
Salary Range: From $115,000 to $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
In accordance with applicable pay equity laws, compensation for this role is determined by education, experience, training, and geographic location, as well as The Ladders' merit and seniority systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships, gaining insight into their financial aspirations, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Provide outstanding service to clients, fostering direct referrals through exceptional experiences.
- Evaluate client financial data to devise strategies and recommend products that align with their financial goals.
- Exhibit professionalism and confidence when interacting with clients, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Organize and conduct client meetings with clear, actionable outcomes, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Proactively address client needs, managing expectations with the support of the team.
- Utilize discretionary authority in investment decision-making and portfolio management.
- Address complex client requirements with expertise and accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive financial planning documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with colleagues to fulfill all wealth advisory responsibilities.
- Leverage MoneyGuidePro to create detailed financial plans and recommendations.
- Manage administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, documentation preparation, and client record maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and assist in the preparation of compliance reports.
- Develop and maintain a strong professional network, building ongoing relationships with new and relevant COIs.
- Engage with fellow professionals within the firm and provide training on wealth advisory practices.
- Maintain a visible presence in the community through volunteer work or participation in charitable organizations.
- Align the team with the firm's strategic objectives, establishing clear guidelines for timelines and workload management.
- Follow established processes and procedures for client service and prospecting new clients.
- Supervise and mentor the Associate Wealth Advisor, offering feedback, training, and career development guidance.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Preferred designations include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP); Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist (CPA, PFS); Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
- 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Wealth Advisor, Senior Financial Advisor, or similar role is preferred.
- A collaborative team player with a high level of self-assurance.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
- Strong integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Results-oriented, highly motivated self-starter with a commitment to helping others secure their financial futures.
