Senior Wealth Advisor
Compensation:
Salary: Ranges from $115,000 to $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
In accordance with applicable equal pay legislation, compensation variations for this role are determined by education, experience, training, and geographic location, alongside our firm's seniority and merit-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, comprehending their financial aspirations, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
- Provide outstanding service to clients, leading to direct referrals.
- Evaluate clients' financial data to devise strategies and recommend products that align with their financial goals.
- Exhibit confidence and professionalism when interacting with clients, prospects, and Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Organize and conduct client meetings with clear, actionable outcomes, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Proactively address client requirements, managing expectations with team collaboration.
- Exercise discretionary authority in investment decisions and portfolio oversight.
- Address complex client needs with expertise and precision.
- Prepare comprehensive financial planning deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the team to fulfill all wealth advisory responsibilities.
- Utilize financial planning software to create thorough financial plans and recommendations.
- Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining client records.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, assisting in the preparation of compliance reports.
- Develop and maintain a strong network, fostering ongoing relationships with new and relevant COIs.
- Actively cultivate relationships with fellow professionals within the firm and provide training on wealth advisory practices.
- Engage with the community through volunteer work or participation in charitable organizations.
- Align the team with the firm's strategic objectives, establishing clear guidelines for timelines and workload management.
- Follow established processes and procedures for client servicing and prospecting.
- Supervise and mentor junior advisors, offering feedback, training, and career guidance.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Preferred designations include: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP); Certified Public Accountant, Personal Financial Specialist (CPA, PFS); Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
- 3-5 years of experience in a Senior Wealth Advisor, Senior Financial Advisor, or similar role is preferred.
- A collaborative team player with a high degree of self-assurance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
- Strong integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Results-oriented, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others secure their financial future.
